I'm not in the slightest bit concerned about this. Ulloa/Bridcutt would hardly be interested in being a part of a chronically failing team, flailing around in a desperate season-long battle against achieving the lowest points total in the history of the top flight. They have their professional pride to think of.

Palace are Premier League tourists, just popping in to see the sights for a few months as they do every once in a while. But they're not considered a proper club at that level by anyone, because they can't compete properly - they're simply not equipped for the Premier League either on or off the pitch. In effect they've just been given a visitors pass. A bit like Burkina Faso in a World Cup group - they're there, but only for comedy value, and not actually taken seriously by anyone.

If a proper Premier League club came in for Bridders or Leo (say a Fulham or a West Brom), then maybe I'd be a bit more worried about losing one or both of them. But Palace ??

Behave.

When are we expecting Barnsley to step in and hijack this Palace bid?

They're nailed on to offer £200k or so for Leo, aren't they?

You realise that u21 players don't need to be listed in the 25 man squad, so we need more quality players in to get to 25 before we include our academy players?.

Do you realise that it isn't COMPULSORY to have the maximum of 25 over-21 players, if you actually have enough good young ones to form part of the squad?

Jeremy Langdon on SSN must have the worst job on television, surrounded by loads of teenage Nigels. Palace paying £2m for Jack Hunt is amazingly generous. An attacking fullback who can't defend. Mark Robbins dropped him when he first arrived as manager for HUddersfield Town. To bid £1.75m for Bridcutt is a joke, when they've signed Hunt for £2m!!
