Is it true that a fair few years back when they parked up on 1 of the golf clubs up on the Dyke(possibly somewhere else local), the club got golfers to line and tee off against their caravans, apparently they didnt stay there long? or just an urban myth?

Pity it wasn't an adults match. Could have gone ahead as arranged. It would just have been a shame if their cars and caravans had got in the way but it was marked out for a match!

The irony of it is that we are due to be having a dads 5-a-side to raise some money for a new training kit in a weeks time. If they'dve turned up then they would've had a shock!

Sorry about bumping this old thread but the travellers are still there! It's driving me nuts! Southwick Hill is behind my house and every night you hear generators,dogs,barking and loud voices. Does it really take this long to evict them!
