If Liverpool are willing to sell him for £20m, I would be very surprised if we didn't least make an offer.

He fits the profile we seem to go for under Potter/Ashworth to a tee, and £20m is not a lot these days (as ridiculous as that is) for the potential he has.

Can't believe we haven't bitten Burnley's arm off for Wood at a reported £13m !

I totally agree with you on this. He would fit the mould perfectly as an alternative striker (like Murray but faster). He’s a proven scorer. He’s good in the air. He can hold the ball up, and good at drawing a foul. And if nothing else, it will stop the f@(ker scoring against us.

Can’t see Burnley selling him to us though.
