I see The Hippodrome has been bought by The Academy venue chain. Could it be the specialist mid-size venue that Brighton could do with?

Is this album good? I've been tempted since its release but have never got round to listening to it in full.

It's like catnip for me. The only danger with it is if you find the influences a little too obvious (mainly British post-punk, a bit of disco.) The songwriting is fabulous.
