staff night out ~ Thursday

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Just out of interest, I guess that you are from out of the area. Do the club/contractor put you up somewhere?

I like the Funky Fish (East of The Palace Pier). Lots of attractive ladies and a decent amount of bar space. Possibly dead on a Thursday, never tried it.

If you are ever short of staff, then give me a nod. I was set for a career in Surveying, but have ended up in the more practical side of things. :)

It's a load of builders FFS, no point in sending them into a load of poncey student pubs.

Just get stuck into west street and be done with it. It's worth a venture into the lanes though, in fact, you can't go far wrong with the smugglers on Ship street, that will put you near the black lion, old orleans and the victory.

Font of firkin must be worth a shout as well

i think that is probably the correct advice. we're talking about a crew of builders who've been stuck on a building site for months. somebody lead them to the top of west street and let them get on with it.

I would imagine its pretty hard trying to build a football stadium and have your laptop with you at all times to answer questions, might be better off waiting for knock off time, wich on fridays is around 2pm from memory.

i think the "shirt-lifter" comment was probably quite offensive to a reasonable proportion of the people who post here...

Agree. Hence my reference to 'tool'

How was the "staff night out" then?

Hi lads,

Night out was o.k, fresh as a daisy this morning as I didn't drink to excess. ended up in Oceana, which was a bit young for me, but live and learn :US:

Thanks to all who gave advice. Appologies for the 'shirt-lifting' line, although I don't know whats to be offended about - I wouldn't be if someone called me a skirt lifter.

Got to get back to it, concrete pour on!
