Great list, I think quite a bit of change before September.
Are there not a few more HGP in that list?
Surely some or all of Connolly, Sarmiento, Gilmour and Alzate count as HGP? Gilmour was at Chelsea academy for many years.
Yes. Will tweak. I

14.. Caicedo ( 2027 + 1 year option) - 21

11. Webster ( HGP ) ( 2026) - 28

16..Gilmour (2026) - 21

25. SIma (2025) - 21

u21: Peupion (2024) - 20

u21 Moran (2027) - 19

u21 Turns (2024) - 20

U21. Ferguson (2028) - 18

3. Steele ( HGP ) (2025) - 32
4. McGill (HGP) (2025) - 23
The perfectionist in me keeps twitching... :ROFLMAO:

From top to bottom:

Inconsistent use of bold on player ages - some have it, some don't. No idea why?

"14.." - can we lose the second dot? Also, can we lose the space before "2027"?

"( 2026)" - can we lose that space before 2026? Also, see below re: spaces / no spaces in the HGP section.

"16..Gilmour" - can we lose the second dot and gain a space?

"SIma" - Sima, surely?

The "u21" four - inconsistent application of the "u21" label. Some with dots, most without dots, one with semi-colon, some upper case, most lower case.

Why is Turns' entry full bold?

"( HGP )" vs "(HGP)" - consistency again

@chaileyjem and @Giraffe should get together and put their stuff on a website - would be much easier to update and would keep the formatting police off their backs too :)

Now I've mentioned it, I'll stop twitching (whether it gets fixed or not). Love these types of threads :).
Sorry that was maybe a bit harsh. Personally I struggled with Giraffe's formatting this year because I have the default black colour scheme and so couldn't see 3 or 4 cells in his spreadsheet every time. In the end I switched to the white colour scheme just for them which mainly shows that I am clearly too lazy to give constructive feedback and am not a team player :)

It seems to me you're a bit of a glory hunter, or am I getting confused 🤔

Naylor saying Mac Allister out + Milner and Mahoud in.

I suppose one of the 2 incoming players is actually the long awaited replacement for Mwepu.

Not so sure that they think like that, especially when one of the key discussions about this window and next season would have been about squad depth/size given EL football and the extent to which last season's squad wasn't big enough to cope optimally with the end of season fixture congestion and injury situation.

Just noticed that Adingra would count as an over 21 player if his birthday was 1 day earlier.

Some updates to the list seem imminent..

in the time it took you to write that you could simply have reposted the whole piece with those corrections in it

Good interview with Gordon Greer (our loans and pathways manager now !) on club website. When asked about prospects of loanees being in first team squad for upcoming season said that "there’s going to be two or three who could be in and around the squad. " although he was clear the standards of the first team have risen so its going to be even harder for players to break through.

Had hopes for him to progress to the first team squad, always seemed very Van Dijk esque
Wonder if that was a transfer fee (unlikely as I think his contract was up this summer anyway - but I'm up for correction on that one if anyone knows better) or that compensation thing for young players developed through the youth system? Hope it's a fee - with add-ons, naturally!

Sorry to see him go really - always impressed when I saw him. Oh well, good luck to him.
