I think Lallana has looked the most productive for England but we are lacking a brain in midfield to get hold of the game and direct play for our front men with some through balls to run at.

Sorry....... Hart, Rose, Sterling, Kane not good enough. Henderson, playing better than normal, but still not good enough.

These players are the cream of the country, we have a winger that can't go round a player or cross a ball, plays on his heels, not toes. Club player at best.
Kane, can't hold the ball up for England, confidence shot and looks awful. He may come again, perhaps the second half. Barkley should be starting.

Passed the ball straight to them and looks very shaky when the ball is near him. The bal that was fizzed across the goal he should have been better positioned.

It's difficult to hold the ball up when you have a hole where Rooney should be able to pick up lay offs.
Told that Sam was picked to bring things back to basics, we are still playing players in a system that doesn't suit anyone
