I'm pretty sure he's on a wind up, regardless to be watching Sherlock that would imply if he watched it on I-Player that he would have a television license.

I binned my TV when I moved to Brighton in 1993, and have not owned one since.

You don't need a TV licence to use iPlayer.

I don't use iPlayer anyway as it's shit, I download torrents if I feel incline to watch anything. The only TV things I've watched in the last five years (excluding Charlton games in pubs) have been Doctor Who, Sherlock and the IT Crowd. I won't be downloading any future episodes of the first two until Moffat gets the boot, and apparently the last one has been axed now anyway.
