Reasons why going to Palace tomorrow will be safe

I'm going to Palace tomorrow with my dad but a few of my mates parents are a little worried of them going on there own. They're 15/16 in a group of 5 and I think if the parents saw some outside opinions saying how safe it will be and why it will be so safe, they'd be reassured.

Ok, I'll bite. I'm not known for lying but on this occassion I can reassure the worried parents that their little darlings will be perfectly ok and I'm 100% certain that they will be safe as this fixture has never experienced any trouble. Hope that helps.

It will be fine, there are sterile areas between the fans, one side to you will the family stand. There will be plenty of police & stewards there, loads of cctv.
To be extra sure get there early, pop into the shop and buy yourselves some nice Palace shirts and change your names to Murray ;-)

No it won't be safe at all they'll probably get beaten up a few times

Because we are Palace NOT Millwall ! if you just walk up to the ground not singing and making out your a "Crew" you will be fine.
I have been to many Brighton games goldstone, Withdean and the Amex always had a scarf on, just walking with or threw BHA fans with nothing but a few coments said in jest...that not saying that a few knobends wont turn up and ruin it, but hopefully not.

Unlike Millwall where standing with my 8 year old son at a bus stop I got a good old fashoned left hander for my troubles!!

It will be safe as Selhurst and surrounding areas is one of the safest places in England, with very low crime and friendly locals.

Grow up. Gob off and they will more than likely get a slap, not gob off and they will be fine.....Get train up with everyone else from Brighton, will result in an escort to the ground and same back......, There are less safe grounds to go than this one.

You'll be fine, there won't be any Palace fans there, or if any do turn up there will be more Brighton fans:lolol:

If they're worried then the safest thing to do is to find the biggest group of nastiest looking Brighton scumbags they can and follow them, as you can then guarantee that they'll be flanked by riot police three deep on each side for the entire day, and wont be allowed anywhere near any Palace fans.

If I saw a Palace fan throwing Brighton fans about I'd kick of majorly.

The amount of Police around that area, and the surrounding areas, it would be very difficult to even say something hurtful. Staying in for an hour and a half will also help.
