Thought the Ref was excellent yesterday. Kept the game flowing and talking all the time to the players. Unfortunately unlike at Fulham no last minute penalty but then we did not have KLL to run into the box for us.

There are two key events that will determine our season - in the immediate future the return of KLL is key - we have looked far less threatening without him and are scrapping for results and tending to draw games rather than win them. Secondly we have to move early and successfully in the January transfer window for a proven goalscorer and an attacking midfielder.

I was impressed with Crofts. The bloke has been through a lot recently with his injuries but came in and did a solid job yesterday. Stephens and Kayal were pretty much untouchable so it's great that they will now have a bit of competition. A fit Crofts playing alongside those two in a midfield three will make us pretty difficult to beat I reckon.

Hemed looked more like his old self again as well.
