Agree...baffles me how people from Brighton call reading a shithole....far far far from being a shithole:mad:
Having lived in both I preferred reading with ease as Brighton is great to visit only [emoji38]ol:

I'll be in the home end anyway cheering on the seagulls :clap2::clap2:
Amazes me how many people are incapable of Reading a thread properly.

It is if you go by train.

Only been there once, for an evening game, left just after the final whistle and ended up legging through the concourse to get the 11.00 train. Ticked off the ground now and in no mood to go back there

Sadly I can't argue with this, and I find it as frustrating as an away fan in getting to/from the ground using public transport.

The Nags Head pub is an excellent place for a drink/food plus they have a private bus to/from the ground. That is easy and works really well, can get back very easily. For a couple of years now they've been trying to get a train station open next to the ground (a bit like the one you guys have) which would be for football and local businesses. I think once that opens it will be a much easier place to get to.

One of my least favourite away days as we always play crap and never win. On the one occasion when we did a score a winner it was disallowed, Gary Hart was robbed and I am still annoyed. I will be relieving the Albion of Reading Jonah staus this weekend in hte hope that if I turn my back they'll actually get a bloody result.

Any chance of this being POTG ? Don't get back from abroad until Friday and not sure whether I can go (bad enough missing tonight's game too).

Hopeless getting away from the ground last year - parked in one of the rough ground car parks just past the shopping park, took about 90 mins to get back to the M4.

Been twice and wouldn't visit again. Away fans and people moan about the nightmare getting to and from the Amex hasn't visited Reading.

1st time by train and the shuttle bus from the town centre is crap. 2nd time we drove and took us over an hour to get out the stadium car park.

I cannot remember if it was the season, or season before, away, when there was that large rotund Reading supporter dressed in a very tight kit, starting all their singing, which was quite amusing.
All that I remember a few Brighton fans were escorted out for being pissed?

Any ideas:)

If anybody (like me) hasn't received their tickets contact supporter services to get your name on the door (well Readings TO to collect)

Any idea on what blocks which will give us a little more clues about how many we've sold so far. Must be over 3000 now, much better than the 120 odd they brought to us.

R32 but only filling half way along the rows at the moment, so we've almost filled half of that block. Assuming they started at R28 how many can we expect?

If you're going to park in a stadium car park i'm not sure what else you were expecting.

Think you're missing the point. Away fans moan that the Amex is a nightmare getting to and from but it's no worse than every other ground and I find the Amex better than most clubs.

That was a couple of seasons back, the evening game. Was amusing, he was decked out in the Reading kit right down to the socks.
