Don't think this is new. I seem to recall hearing it back in the 1970s during the Cold War.

It is an almost inevitable consequence of WWIII and why the OP is being (and I'm being kind here) a little bit daft.

Not our RAF, but I'd love it if we/someone plays them at their own game.

Enforce a non announced/unofficial no fly zone full of western types like the F35 and eurofighter, but in plane grey and no insignia markings, then deny its us, claim they're doing it themelves and shooting down their own aircraft as a provocation to slander us etc.
