Our players could do with watching a repeat of Harrison Reid's goal for Fulham. Packed penalty box, pick a spot, concentrate on a sweet strike and hit the target. Wasn't a thunderbolt or a worldy, and didn't end up in the back of the stand.

And one for 'Swanny' - Is there really any point in Dutch clubs entering European cup competitions? 1995 their last triumph?

Still wonder if that took a deflection of a Villa players leg to create the ‘loop’

If Fulham win this we will face Villa in a couple of weeks with a new manager and no doubt some new manager bounce. Very irritating .

Feyenoord won the UEFA Cup in 2002.

Point and point... there's more money in big countries and hardly anyone can challenge the top 5 leagues and their teams. Even Ajax or similar team going to the semi-finals in eg the CL is a big achievement and an indicator that they're doing more with less.

But of course there's a good point in it - it makes them earn money so they can develop talents, which is nice - a lot of the most entertaining players spent a few years in the Netherlands.

Anyone else think that was a very harsh red?

Didn't actually see him lean his head in, it seemed as much the Fulham player banging into him.

Just like we did when Gerrard got the job. Played them off the park for 80 mins and lost 2-0
