Worthing
Worryingly not far wrong. There is a small raised section at Schalke (behind the goal, still terraced) with a fan leader armed with a megaphone conducting and co ordinating the crowd. Entertainingly after a strong performance the man of the match will run over at the end of the game, collect the megaphone and take over, often accompanied by the rest of the team.

I would re-post what i said but don't want another PM from a sensitive MOD.

This time I'll try to be more constructive in my criticism of the idea.

I don't go to football matches to have an orchestrated sing song, don't get me wrong here, i love a good atmosphere with plenty of singing and chanting but the idea of 1 stand directing the singing is a bit naff really. The idea of waiting for the North to point at us and say "your turn" really does make me cringe, I'm not in a choir.

And to the OP, you say you are very keen to show the East has a voice, at no time do you need permission to show this, just start singing, if others around you join in then carry on, you'll find it's very uplifting.

There! See... you CAN do it when you try

And NSC is a much better place when you do.
