Please not another loan. Thought we was suppose to be building a strong foundation. Can't really do that on loans. No thats not a complaint.

A season long loan is no different from a 1 year contract in my book ( season loans can only be called back in the January transfer window ). It enables us to perhaps get better players than we can afford to sign permanently.
So a total of 2 season long loans isn't anything to worry about really

We've only got ONE player on loan currently.

If it's a loan he may not get much of a say in things.
Villa fans are absolute mongs anyway , pl level is different to championship

There are other accounts suggesting he has improved quite a bit and had a strong pre-season.

Villa fans appear to be saying he's definitely not an orthodox LB, but is more suited to getting forward.

I've already put a couple of posts up. A good friend who goes to 32/33 of the 38 games a season has always said he is absolutely useless. I went to a game with him v Norwich and he was the worst player on the pitch, he gave two wreckless fouls on a mr E Bennett and got sent off. That game was pretty much the end of his Villa career, been their scapegoat ever since.
He looked amazing for Boro V Arsenal in the cup though.
Probably just short of confidence, and is fairly quick and direct.

Season long loans haven't let us down in recent years. Some of the temporary ones have been a little iffy.

a look at older posts on Boros forum suggest he was quality in this league for them.
Even the bad Villa opinions seem to acknowledge he is good going forward.
