I think even Warnock is surprised...

Things are really looking up at Palace - new ground, new category one academy, newly appointed young up and coming manager.....oh no wait, that's us isn't it?

:falmer:

It's just a shame that you're completely skint then. We've got £25m to spend before the window shuts.

Fans and pundits seem to be leaning heavily on the "they've gone for experience with Warnock" with a little support of "he's got some promotions, maybe he can transfer that to staying up" just glazing over his previous failures in the premier league.

Looking forward to seeing how he gets on with the likes of Marouane Chamakh :D

That said, it's not like their existing players aren't used to hoofing it, so maybe it'll just be a case of plus ca change.

I think you've had the £25m for a fair while now. Going well, isn't it?

Call me superstitious but I'm not gonna join in with all the laughing smileys because knowing my luck, he'll keep them up, be awarded manager of the year and it'll come back to bite me on the arse.

That's quite a wad. Good thing you'd got an excellent Director of Football to organise all the new signings for Colin's approval.

Oh...

Tony Pulis got on perfectly well with Chamakh. He's an extremely intelligent player who works hard, doesn't shy away from a challenge and is constantly looking to win the ball back. He's Warnock's wet dream.

For some reason, players didn't want to sign for a club without a manager. We've just completed the signing of Jack Cork and Wilfried is about to return

Very very well thanks we're in the Prem :D Last year most Brighton fans said we'd be down by Christmas:nono::ffsparr:

That's OK, there's always this season.

I've always quite liked Warnock actually, going against the grain here. I was pleased when he walked out on you last time. Looks like I'm going to have to go back to disliking him again. Really can't work out how this is going to go for you. Can lightning really strike twice (dinosaur manager turns up, many fans appalled, somehow keeps team up using methods most thought died out with Charles Hughes)?

Here's hoping not

Could we really beat Brighton at the fortress Amex in the play off semi after the St Patrick's day massacre the football you were playing was fantastic (That hurt to say that) and us with a 10 game winless streak?
Who knows stranger things have happened eh?

Warnock is a great championship manager. Like many players are great championship players. But when they step up to the big league they find it a step to far, as Warnock has on a few occasions already. Maybe they are planning for next season already.
