Worth noting that there is a lot of recent twitter posts linking him with us and the hitc article suggests we outbid Corinthians with our 7.3m bid. Interesting to see how the Ecuadorian club handle it if bolanos doesn't want to move to England.

Let's hope this is put to bed soon!!

Nothing doing. Corinthians has not sought and will hardly look for the entrepreneurs or the player Miller Bolaños, as widely disclosed today by the Brazilian and Ecuadorian press, which guaranteed the presence of striker, tomorrow, in Brazil, to define details of the transfer. This is information that BastidoresSCCP received from a source of Corinthians, consulted late in the afternoon. Despite knowing the qualities of Ecuadorian striker Emelec, inside the club it is seen as a player "difficult to be hired" by the high price (about 8 million) and before the polls arriving from all over the world and long contract it has with the current club.

By late afternoon, the representative of the player, José Chamorro, was another who spoke of such interest. In an exclusive interview, said that there is nothing so far. "The return of Miller Bolanos to the Corinthians is just a rumor that came from Brazil. There's nothing about it. It is totally false, "he said, adding:" The player has a contract with Emelec 2018 and we are seeing the options for their future. There are teams from Turkey, England, Italy and also China. But I can not say anything as there is nothing concrete. "

Is his name 'Miller' or 'Miler'? Every time I see his name, it's spelt differently.

Is Miller pronounced Meejjur, a bit like the ll in Ulloa?

Be a coincidence if his debut is against Rotherham - The Millers!

That's from yesterday and not a clue how reliable the website is FWIW...

Info today suggests Corinthians haven't bid...

Which translates as:

The Brighton would have reached an agreement with Emelec for hiring of striker Miller Bolanos. Value? TEN million euros.

A peruvian told me a while back that the "ll" sounding like a j is generally an Argentinian thing and not in all of South American Spanish. So probably either Mill-er or maybe Mi-yer?

Think it says everything about the press and social media that although Corinthians have said they are not in for him and Emelec and his agent confirms they haven't bid, the Corinthian rumours (even down to detailed bids) are still flying.
I guess it confirms we know nothing and can believe no-one
