What went on in the West Stand Lower, fairly central after Zaha's equaliser. Was it Palace fans larging it in the boxes?

A single guy in the back row was escorted out by an official in a whistle. He was deliberately over celebrating the equaliser to get attention and was lucky to just get significant verbal abuse, if he'd been allowed to stay a number of guys near me prob would have taken things into their own hands at goal 2 or 3 if not earlier

Why can't they have a little celebration, it's a football match, in a corporate area, not the Balkans.

When the second half started the WHOLE of the 1901 area was empty. A bit shabby if you ask me, surely fans would be keener to see the match than be eating and drinking?

Service is always terrible. The bar bill is a rip off, so I take my own drinks now. Those new sandwich things are fine, but £5.50, £5 f***ing 50?!!

I was actually delighted last night to buy two packets of crisps and a wispa duo for £3!!

Blimey, what lounge were you in? We ate in Renault lifestyle, all good. We did sit down at 5:40pm, so had a leisurly meal and plenty to drink. Went to our seats half an hour before KO.

We got moved there for the Peterborough game, as not many takers in our lounge. Thought they were very efficient, to the point of being a little to busy!

But couldnt fault the service tbf.

The stewards had sod all proof they were Palace fans but acted on the suspicions of surrounding Brighton fans.

It seems there's a completely different rule for the 1901 seats though, however!

I was sitting nearby and saw the fan you were talking about. At that point we had conceded 3 goals in 10 minutes, but he was not disrespectful whatsoever at that time. I can't comment about when he left after the whistle, but up to the final whistle he was in no way acting like you are describing. What is a disgrace is singling people out, not having a little more tolerance and painitng the wrong picture.

I think you'll find they are not "Our seats". the seats were purchased by a 1901 club member, probably for entertaining customers, they do not belong to Albion fans.

What people seem to be forgetting is the 1901 was never really intended to be a Home fans section, it was always for corporate entertaining, no-one really anticipated the demand from normal fans wishing to spoil themselves after all the years at Withers.

Whats the big deal, we moan about the need for segregation and when an opposing fan actually isn't segregated we want ejections and bans for them and those that gave the supporter the ticket.

As long as he isnt causing trouble and assuming you can control yourself should an opposing supporter cheer then get on with it.

I have written to Azure (politely) to comment on the quality of the food. I know at least two others who have as well.

I have only had 3 meals so far. I will not have another until the quality of the food and the general experience improves. Initially I felt let down, but I/we gave them the benefit of doubt. The Liverpool burger and chips meal made me feel nothing but ripped-off.
