Dave, seriously, your attempts to appear ' in control' of this discussion between ourselves , are fooling NOBODY ,you're not making me ' dance ' nor does anyone else think so, if this was a boxing match your corner would've thown the towel in .

Im not 'controlling' anything in particular...its just very easy to make you dance on these threads.....keep frothing...looking forward to your next froth....either later in the week, or early next week....already!!!

Please point out which part of me highlighting what a buffoon you're making of yourself is 'frothing' or 'dancing', anyway i thought you were too busy 'working' to answer buzzer , doesnt look like it to me.

***waits for increasingly unbelievable excuse about a) enjoying making me 'dance' or b) only on here to poke fun***

Or are the only party who actively campaign for leaving the EU. You might not agree with leaving the EU but to summarise those that vote for UKIP as either disaffected main party voters or embarrassed racists is a little simplistic and blinkered.

If people think that our economic problems of lack of investment in infrastructure, education & training, an ageing population, lack of manufacturing base, polarisation of income, youth unemployment, a huge balance of payments deficit and Dick Knight stealing the Cup Final money can be solved by leaving the EU, then it is a simplistic party to vote for.

There are arguments both for and against EU membership, the CBI, IOD, and other employer bodies are mainly in favour, the TUC are in favour, and most (not all) economists too.

To be fair to Nigel Farage, he accepts that leaving the EU would be the equivalent of a 3-4% reduction in GDP, but thinks that non-membership is a price worth paying for that, so at least he sticks to his principles. What concerns me, is that beyond leaving the EU, UKIP have no policies that are anything other than laughable.

Guilty as charged, I guess. I suppose I keep coming back to it because I can't for the life of me figure out why people like Dave can't see that there are very real problems at the lower end of society caused by this unfettered immigration and the Left's inability to acknowledge that is as much a part of the problem as the BNP. There are some on here that would have us believe that the problem is all down to enlightenment. If we were all pan-Europeans instead of nasty little Englanders, if people weren't so thick, if they weren't so racist, if they embraced the cultural diversity....somehow all the problems will go away.

That's always been a problem I've found with a lot of left-wingers, it's not the politics so much as the delivery especially when it comes from someone in a position of comfort and detachment. A noblesse oblige, Nanny knows best approach. Gordon Brown showed this when he called that old dear racist rather than listen to what she said and challenge her views.

George Orwell described the type very well - the kind of socialist who will do anything for the working-class except join them. That said, Dave's a different kettle of fish. He's never really claimed any empathy with the indigenous underclasses (although he does claim to speak for black people because he's met a lot of them), he's someone who gets his kicks going keyboard warrior with BNPers on here, Facebook, BNP forums...and he loves all this aggro the rest of us are hand-wringing about.

I think I've just convinced myself that I've been wasting my time trying to debate with him - as this thread proves. Time to hang up me boots.

Buzzer...its not that ive 'met' black people...its that ive lived with black people for over 20 odd years...

I do realise there is immigration issues, however, I dont believe they are the sole reason for problems in the UK.
Thats down to people in Bushys industry mainly...the financial sector.
How many English people are in fields picking fruit instead of picking up benefit cheques?
Lots of immigrants are doing shit jobs like that...it is better for them financially, as it helps them in their own
countries, but lets not kid ourselves that it is stopping indigenous people finding work...the work was there, and nobody wanted it.
Blaming immigrants, because indigenous employers are employing them is a bit wierd in my eyes.

Is BNP still around? I thought they all voted UKIP now?
;-D
