This is a fight over two legs isn't it, what with the re-match already agreed within their contracts?
Sort of makes this first fight pointless.

But if by some chance Usyk were to win, what does he say if AJ comes into the ring, "I've done you twice, what's the point in a hat trick?"If the fight needed any added spice I understand AJ will be there ringside!

And if, as I believe, Fury wins any AJ fight won't be till next year unless they can circumnavigate the rematch clause, although if Fury were to destroy Usyk Sat night you won't get AJ going anywhere near him.
BolloxTricky one. Saudi money and Turk Alash have put on some specatacular cards. Without the Saudi money alot of these fights don't get made. Personally I think they've been great for boxing. Some great match ups all over the place now.
You cant really hate Saudi but like the match up. Saudi have made this happen !!
AJ is there for two reasons and neither of those are his next fight. But if by some chance Usyk were to win, what does he say if AJ comes into the ring, "I've done you twice, what's the point in a hat trick?"

I dont know...the idea of dressing up in a smock and driving around a desert in lambo has it's merits.Yer gotta agree. Would 100% would have gone to this if it was in Vegas, imagine the hype and fun and clubs , bars etc. would be incredible. Saudi is so sh1t , no atmosphere, no booze, no decent parties. Rubbish.
AJ Mk 2 smashed a novice boxer in his second fight ( A the novices first fight was bordering on Panto)He's beaten the old AJ but he hasn't beaten AJ 2.0 has he??
There was appetite for all the Fury Wilder fights. Personally, I'd like to see the seemingly new improved AJ against Usyk. Priority is AJ v Fury though….regardless of the Usyk outcomes. In all seriousness if Fury were to lose would there be any appetite for a third AJ vs Usyk?
You've typed into ChatGPT "Post a comment which is the definition of being sportswashed"You cant really hate Saudi but like the match up. Saudi have made this happen !!
The really big fights haven't been happening though have they?! Theres a reason that the last unified heavyweight championship fight was Lennox Lewis vs Evander Holyfield in 1999!Bollox
The fights would still happen with smaller purses that is all, Saudi are willing to pay stupid money for various reasons.
The fighters follow the money, like F1, like shitty burnt out footballers, like that shitty so called sport where you hit a hard ping pong ball with a stupid stick and try and get it in a hole.
I'd argue not the third HT, that came about because of a lawsuit I recall? There was appetite for all the Fury Wilder fights. Personally, I'd like to see the seemingly new improved AJ against Usyk. Priority is AJ v Fury though….regardless of the Usyk outcomes.
I used to enjoy boxing, now it’s all about contracts and on par with WWE story lines for a build up.Why is it nonsense ? If you don’t like boxing you’re on the wrong thread.
He looks good but it’s still very early days. One fight on the undercard has caught my eye. Young British heavyweight prospect.
Looks DECENT and future world champion in the making..
Moses Itauma vs Ilja Mezencev
Fair point regarding the third. I’d forgotten that.I'd argue not the third HT, that came about because of a lawsuit I recall?
I'm still not convinced we will ever see Fury and AJ in a ring together.
Is it not on Talk Sport or 5Live then? How has this passed me by? I didn't know that that no agreement was reached for UK radio commentary
