Yeah i know its ‘only’ just a friendly… but a sell out crowd between two of the best if not the best women‘s teams …got to be worth a gander.

I miss Leah Williamson.

Enjoyable game so far though. The United States (along with Japan and maybe Canada) are the only three sides that stand a chance of winning the World Cup from different continents. Europe will dominate the tournament.

Very late call on VAR.

Don't forget Australia with home advantage.

The Matildas beat the GB/England team in the Olympic Quarter-Finals last year. And in Sam Kerr they've got a world class player.

What a game! 2-2 now.

Whoever thinks women's football is boring, just watch this! Great stuff.

Edit: VAR disallow USA goal. 2-1 to England.

VAR doing its best to ruin the women's game just like the men's.

That second VAR decision looks a bit harsh too.

Offside is offside though! I thought it might be the first time they replayed the ‘goal’.

I can also see why the pen was given. The ball was more at head height than anything … Lucy Bronze went to head it and the USA player was high with her kick and didn’t make contact with the ball which was dangerous.

Lots more goals to come though I’d suggest.

I forgot about them. Playing at home could put extra pressure on their girls but they should do well. Host nations tend to get kind draws.
