I get that Man Utd are pretty shit and leak goals like we do, but you have to go out and win the game. A turgid first half is ok, but surely you might as well just go for it in the second than go out with a whimper that they are.

United heading out is good for me in hindsight. Firstly it’s CHUCKLESOME. Secondly, I could do without a Europa League with Liverpool, West Ham, Newcastle and Man U in it as well as us. Just becomes a mini Premier League at that point.

Talking of Bayern, wonder what sort of crowd they had for this...(History research from my kid).

The last recorded football match in the Third Reich was on April 23, 1945. It was the München derby between FC Bayern and TSV 1860, won 3-2 by Bayern. Less than three weeks later, Germany surrendered unconditionally

The "Wilf returns to the Amex" dream is still alive!
That can do one.

Him knocking us out, even if he only comes on for 5 minutes, will see twenty four hours of synchronised wanking in Croydon. I'd rather draw any other team.

Anyway, hopefully we'll win on Thursday and, at least, defer this scenario.
