It might be a win, but we should expect to be beating the likes of cardiff.

:jester:

You may not have noticed that Cardiff City have been doing fairly well of late...... Several points clear at the top of the table (not quite so many now, though - tee-hee), lots of money being spenta and this is only the second time this season they have lost at home.

Over there
This could be a real significant result for the remainder of our season and will really make the rest of this division sit up and look at us now.
P.S, does mean I've now got the "official match thread" job for the foreseeable :)

As the start of your sentence points out, it doesn't even itself out over a season. So far this season:
we were lucky to get a point against Blackpool, same at Blackburn, and lucky to get all 3 today.
we were unlucky not to beat Blackburn at home, unlucky not to get a point at Hull, unlucky not to beat Bolton, very unlucky not to beat Leeds (thanks ref), and unlucky to lose against Middlesbrough.

2 seasons ago we had a bit more than our share of luck. Sure we were a decent team, but it just kept going our way. This season we've been a bit unlucky not to get more.

You forgot Wolves' equaliser as well, and Birmingham mugging us at the AMEX. And Hoskins missing 4 vs Forest...

Worthing
Heart beat back down to below a hundred - and now a couple of cans of Guinesss to relax me before bed.
That was daylight robbery though...... Apart from the fact that it wasn't daylight......... And it wasn't really robbery.
