Energetic display from both sides but the real quality was by villa in particular there front two. Collar is a decent player. March head and shoulders best player on park first half which was encouraging. Harper is a mixed bag. With all the good things he does, he also does some shoddy things. Poor touch and layoffs etc. Overall not bad game.

Our 15 that came on at the end is a unit. Looks like a toned heavyweight boxer but has something about him and certainly one to watch.

No real different from last season. Quite toothless upfront with no pressure at all on the Villa back line.

Villa had two at least right on our central defenders at all times and were chasing down our defence a lot.

Number 9 for Villa was MOTM

Harper was useless again. Caught offside at least 6 times. I just haven't been impressed with him at all.

If anyone looked like scoring it was Villa. They missed a couple of sitters.

Like i say no different from last year in terms of pattern and shape. Not convinced by Rusk. Our U23 will be near the bottom again.

Solly March showed some really good touches. Quite like our Spanish keeper. Good kicking.

Jessie always works hard.

Oh and we should have had another player sent off but ref changed his mind because he realized our defender was already on a yellow.
