I've spent much of the day talking to Polish and Czech immigrant friends who after more than a decade of hard work and service to their UK communities have been left feeling devalued and unwanted and they and their children subject to verbal abuse.

I have been self employed for 42 years and have had to compete with Polish/Czech plumbers for a decade.
If I don't get out of bed every day and work my family are fecked - whats the difference other than I was born in Brighton and they were not.

How long before the EU come crawling for deals?

They tried to call our bluff and failed spectacularly....You can bet your right bollock they're really gutted inside and they will swallow their pride!!
In time we will be in demand from all over the world and we will boom boom boom

Give it a week or two and you will see a different EU towards us as they need us more than we need them and more importantly they will be seriously worried about a chain reaction,so will be having many emergency meetings shortly.
