An Aussie with an Irish Granny, can get an Irish Pasport and have more rights than me in the EU, despite me having paid in for all my working life. Two people I know who voted leave have applied for Irish passports, so they can keep the rights they voted to strip me of.

Welcome to the new World Order, " All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others ".. and always will be.

How does the George Orwell reference move debate forward? Persuasive? Informative? Helpful? Genuinely interested in your purpose here....

Do you think it is inserted to " Move the debate forward " ? Or is it used in the context it was written in to describe and excuse the double standards that seem to have always existed. There is another apt saying, " The more things change, the more they stay the same "

Rees-Mogg shifts his company to an EU country to shield himself from any loss of earnings, Nigel Farage secure German passports for his children, people in Sunderland who voted for Brexit in the hope that it might make things better for them may well lose their city's major employer. I could go on...

My grandchildren are eligible for Irish passports.

And so may end centuries of Englishness for my family, an eternity that began with the Vikings and will conclude with Boris and Aaron. The end, one might say, is Nigel.

Clear answer.... and thank you. To be fair those details had not passed me by without my noticing - but just wondered how well known those specific double standards are.....
I have no doubt that the outcome of this mess will be that the poor are poorer and the powerless are, well, further disenfranchised!
But - the heavy lifting is being done by those who are determined that, whatever the cost, we must 'honour the 2016 4% majority'.

You fell for the leaver groups' lies.

No I didn't. I knew exactly what I was voting for.

Don't presume every leave voter feel for lies, and I won't every remain voter is an easily lead, spineless, snowflake.

Brexit has already cost the economy £50 billion and in April higher rate tax payers get £860 in the form of a tax break, the Tories looks after their mates and the war on the poor will continue will bear the brunt. I'm afraid they were conned by the Tory right

You did, you just haven't realised it yet.
This is why I can't get upset with, or blame anyone who voted leave.

When the population's minds are subjected to a massive hybrid information warfare attack, then that only works when those minds don't realise.

So we are where we are, and this is why in my opinion a 2nd referendum would be pointless without setting up defences against it happening again. Examples of such measures could be as harsh as shutting down facebook's newsfeed for 3 months before another vote, and as an absolute minimum banning RT / sputnik from this Un-United Kingdom.

So the only way out is a massive public revelation of the hybrid attack, and revoking Article 50 on national security grounds.

So which were you voting for 2 and a half years ago, TM's deal or No deal?

It'll help put you in the right half of the remaining runt of leave voters and not the half that wanted something completely different to you

That would be preferable, but I am not sure that the evidence is fully formed yet, or that there is a desire to reveal to us all how vulnerable we are to seductive bullshit

And you are avoiding answering any questions about the 'no deal' Brexit that you want to see happen

I'm genuinely interested what people like yourself, who want us to push on with 'no deal' think we should do about the problems it's throwing up

It's just that at the moment your wishes seem to be akin to me shagging Kylie Mynogue.

It's a complete and utter fantasy, and I have no idea where to even start to make it happen. But I think someone else should take responsibility for making it happen, and I'll be really really angry if it doesn't :lolol:
No one voted for a deal ,remain or leave was on the ballot paper, but hey you keep flapping your gums

I suggest a vote that does not include an option to remain is an affront to democracy.

I think I have an analogy you may appreciate, given your bookmarks. Imagine I asked if you would like to watch some porn on the internet, or just carry on being a prick on NSC, you of course say "PORN! yes, I love it, all kinds including Nasty and really Nasty", then I offer you a choice of lots of Oral or a load of Anal, but it's all Gay porn. Which would you choose to be beating off to?
Of course there will be many that always envisaged it would be Gay porn and are very happy, and some who are not fussed much about gender, but others, maybe even a massive porn fan like yourself, would think they had been steered down a path they never would have chosen if they had had more information, find it unfair that they were misled, and demand to be given the option to just carry on being a WUM on NSC instead.
I understand you may not respond immediately as you have other things to be doing on the internet, and may have RSI in the wrist, and I have better things to do than hang around for a response from a :wanker: like you, so in case I don't get the chance to say it you again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and Mrs. Palm and her five daughters
you're making yourself look like a right plonker Rodney

Typical triumphalism at the end there;not much attempt to reach out to Remainers and heal the wounds..... disappointing but quite predictable. Don't try and become a diplomat - you're not very good at it.
