There are a few loonies on here.

Parliament is the UKs supreme legal authority. A consultative referendum took place to inform them on our relationship with the EU, simple in out decision. The country was clearly extremely divided but there was a small minority for leave. Fine. The next government was voted in on a leave manifesto. Fine. There has been over 2.5 years and the Brexit government has its leave deal agreed with the EU. Fine (although it’s shit, but then it always was going to be). But some Brexit extremists don’t like it, would like a different form of leave. And other Brexiteers would like to stay, given the mess this has created. Fine. The Brexit government has had their go, it will fail in January. They have been incapable of delivering a solution. Bring it back to the people. Go as per the Brexit deal, go with no deal, stay. And to those who say it’s not democratic, it absolutely it, democracy stands still for no one, not even the toffs and elites leading the Brexit charge.

Not sure they wanted to deliver a solution in the 1st place. Should have been a multi party negotiation team from the start

So why are companies stockpiling medicines...are they all stupid and useless and snowflakes and project fearists?

the normal business as usual stock supply chain has been publicised as a "stockpiling", with some increase to cover delays. increase of refrigeration capacity to cover cold chain products, which is area of actual concern.

If its leaving with a deal, no problem, if its leaving with no deal, no problem either.
EU have already put forward a proposal for a resolution to be in place by Brexit day if its leaving with no deal.(it will be a reciprocal arrangement)

For those who have 'Too Long;Didn't Read'-ed the link - it only says that certain air services will continue as before Brexit in a *No deal* situation - Page 6 of the linked document. Which flights these are is still, appropriately, somewhat 'up in the air'.

I know your jesting but Spain are not going to shut their doors to 18million brits a year, it would be suicide.

What will be suicide about not having your seaside resorts smashed up by rowdy Brits-on-the-piss every week?

Haha, the Spaniards are happy to be stabbing a bull a few times to a slow death, I am sure they can cope with the a few fisty cuffs and a few billion euros they receive from us each year.

They love us.

If you insist. Were you wearing your :dunce: when you thought of it?

I was thinking that using porn in the analogy might make it easier to understand for you.
Despite having a strong interest in it, I assume there is some stuff out there that even a depraved individual such as yourself can't stomach and would prefer not to view, or am I wrong and anything and everything, hits the spot for you?

Simon Calder travel expert, seems to think that the EU will allow flights at 2018 levels, but that will mean 50 flights a week currently scheduled will not be permitted. https://twitter.com/SimonCalder/status/1075483653101240320

The EU proposal Regulation has already been submitted a few days ago and is more in depth about what those"certain" flights are, flights at pre-brexit levels etc
https://ec.europa.eu/transparency/regdoc/rep/1/2018/EN/COM-2018-893-F1-EN-MAIN-PART-1.PDF
Our proposal was published in september
https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...s-to-and-from-the-uk-if-theres-no-brexit-deal

Both are proposing reciprocal arrangements, it shouldnt be too hard to have something in place for a no deal scenario.

"Shouldn't be too hard'........ like the 2016-18 negotiations then.

Good point plus 18m x £7 for the travel pass is going to be a nice earner too.

Soon to be harder for Brits to get into Europe than Australians. They didn't put that on the side of the bus

They needed a bigger bus !

An Aussie with an Irish Granny, can get an Irish Pasport and have more rights than me in the EU, despite me having paid in for all my working life. Two people I know who voted leave have applied for Irish passports, so they can keep the rights they voted to strip me of.

Is there a bit of a theme developing here ?

You claim there's 'something in place'

Yeah ok, lets just go with whats in your head then, that in the event of a no deal scenario the sum total of our planning so far is that we sent out some letters to businesses saying “be prepared”.
Try and keep up.

Accounting and audit if there’s no Brexit deal
Providing services including those of a qualified professional if there's no Brexit deal
Structuring your business if there’s no Brexit deal
Banking, insurance and other financial services if there’s no Brexit deal
VAT for businesses if there's no Brexit deal
Data protection if there’s no Brexit deal

https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/how-to-prepare-if-the-uk-leaves-the-eu-with-no-deal

By coincidence someone has actually read what you have quoted and seems to think that's not the case

Re the 106 Technical Notices the Government has issued. I'm an accountant, I've read the Accountancy and Audit one. There's no mention of VAT, specifically Tour Operator Margin Scheme VAT. Here, I have a client that ignores the punitive UK VAT rules in favour of the more relaxed and user-friendly EU rules - as he is entitled to do as either can be used.

He has asked me what will happen after 29th March 2019, so in his next VAT Quarter. I look to the Technical Notice for guidance, there is none. Now this is just in one sector, but it's a total mess.

I feel for any small business that imports or exports goods and services to/from the EU, having to get their heads round new VAT rules, having to get an EORI number to trade, the new customs declaration Forms CDS replacing the old CHIEF system, even Making Tax Digital for VAT coming in from 1st April 2019. They couldn't have made trading any more bureaucratic if they tried. It's a shambles.

Oh look, here it's happened again

If its leaving with a deal, no problem, if its leaving with no deal, no problem either.

I wonder what would happen if people could actually be arsed to read the documents you keep quoting ?

Only 95 days top go, and they still can't even put out a document to say with any certainty what's going to happen, let alone implement it

Tick Tock

I shall just paddle over in a rubber dinghy, seems to be the way to do it.

You’ll be very welcome in Germany. We have a good policy on accepting people from desperate third world countries.
