Its true that the club are looking into a beamback to Selhurst. BHA and the FA have said its a goer.
Brighton v Palace - Beamback to Selhurst? Yes/No? - CPFC BBS

CPFC2010 said:
The last of the 2500 away tickets for Brighton v Palace on Tuesday 27th September sold out within a few hours of going on sale to season ticket holders and members last Monday. Undoubtedly, a lot of people who wanted to go to this fixture at the Amex have missed out.

We have asked BHA, the FA and the Football League for permission to "beamback" the match live to Selhurst and we have just heard that this has been agreed.

We will need at least 1000 people to attend in order for this to be a viable proposition as we need to pay for the uplink, satellite time and the downlink to Selhurst Park. So, the question is...Are we on for this? We need to make a decision by Monday (12th) and if it's a "yes" then tickets will go on sale immediately. The idea is that we will open up the upper tier in the Holmesdale Stand so fans can watch from either the upper tier on the giant screen, or inside on the concourse or in the Red and Blue bar on the new flat screen tv's. We may change this subject to ticket sales.

Not only have Brighton agreed to the live feed but we can also have copies of their match programme for this first ever "local derby" at their new stadium. It's a glossy, 84 page, laminated and bound job .

We would propose charging, for advance sales, a £10 entry price to include the programme, or, a group ticket for 5 people at £40. Tickets on the night would be £15 each. The reason for the increase on the night is to encourage fans to purchase in advance so that we can plan catering/bars and stewarding more accurately.

What do we all think? Is there demand for this and how big is that demand? As an added bonus, Palace Ale will be served......and we may even get the Crystals along ! Steve Browett.

Desperate? How many other clubs do beambacks because the demands for tickets is so high? We have had beambacks before and they have been very well attended.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Can we get a beam back from outside the ground after kick off? I don't fancy standing shoulder to shoulder with the Selhurst scum. It would certainly appease McBeth and the fellow moaners.
