Just heard this on the radio and thought “Wow, such a good song” and then remembered just how many they had. I was not a fan of much of their later stuff in truth

But this still stands up as an absolute classic decades after release imo

I'd have to plump for In My Life - I think it's just about the perfect pop song: great tune, McCartney's wonderful bass line, lyrics that say something and that Bach-like middle eight

I also have a soft spot for this, in fact I am leaning very heavily towards Lennon and Harrison vocals although Paul had the best vocal range
