Byrne and Small were class, a great partnership.

They got us to the play-offs of what is now the Championship.

I voted Byrne as he was great to watch and Small was forever offside i remember !

Gary Nelson for me.

Phil Stant had the best tatoos and Dirk Lehmann the best name.

Bobby a very close 2nd

Zamora without a doubt. Loved Garry Nelson and Johnny Byrne but Zam is a class above. The only other I would mention is Mark Gall - strong, quick, tenacious and could finish but sadly short lived.

I thought Terry Connor, although not the best striker is probably worth a mention.
I remember him scoring against Liverpool - happy days.

Gary Nelson, few years of great service, always found the net, went on to better things with Charlton after being shat on by Barry Lloyd. Didnt want to leave us either.

This poll is skewed becasue half the kids round here have only ever seen Zamora score over 20 in a season for us.

Goldsone Gaz we salute you!

Bit of a no-brainer really.

The Bobster.

(Although if it had been the last 22 years I'd have said Mick Robinson)

I think that was the last time we had a genuine "pair" of strikers

Byrne played at the highest level and did a great job for the Albion. Bobby hasn't quite cut it yet, so my vote goes to Byrne.

Bobby just gets it over Byrne.... Nogan woud've been higher but I think he went off a bit at the end!
