you know me stitch, just trying to stir things up a bit! That wanker Taylor banning
Me for 3 years has a lot to do with it! Bha is my love, can't risk being banned from our new stadium for some small affection for a place I onced lived in. Wish you all the best against man utd and in league 2 when you get there. But crawley need an enemy in the league so I guess as you are also in Sussex , its only natural for a rivalry to evolve.

Fair enough mate.

How is he wrong?
Crawley council, the Owners and Landlords of the Broadfield Stadium, refused to have us groundshare because they thought Palarse reserves would create more revenue so we ended up at Priestfield.
Palarse went Bankrupt and stiffed crawley council so it cost Crawley big time.

But good luck to CTFC anyway but no way would I go to watch them unless it was for another BHAFC 5-0 drubbing.

COUNCIL, not club. And they had no choice as residents were promised, when planning permission was granted, that no team would play their home first team games there apart from Crawley. Residents knew you were struggling and were fearful of that so the promise was made.

And fair play to the council for keeping their promise.

No.

When we were desperate for a ground, before Gillingham stepped in, Crawley told us to F off. Never forgotten that.

indeed!

and gillingham hardly stepped in. bellotti (scum~) had to stump up a sizeable wedge to scally to get us into pissfielld - at a time when player transport to the ground consisted of the back seat in gary hobson's ford escort

AT THE FRONT OF THE QUEUE
100% No.

I honestly don't get it, how can any self respecting Albion fan seriously consider going to watch Crawley instead of watching their own club in the 5th round of the FA Cup, why do you even follow the Albion?? Very odd.

Always been a bit of needle between the two towns. Mostly it seems from them. I occasionally went to the Leisure Centre to see bands in the late Seventies and early Eighties. They were always hanging around Three Bridges station trying to suss out anyone from Brighton. I remember a few scuffles at a Stranglers when they targeted a well known character on the Brighton punk scene. Unfortunatly it was his brother they got , not him. And of course it kicked off big time in 1977 when the Clash played there, although to be fair to Crawley , there was quite a bit of Pa***e involvement in the mix.
It also kicked off occasionally down here at the Top Rank .I remember our skinheads giving their skinheads a good shoeing up Queens Road after a Cockney Rejects gig.
It wasn't exactly a Sussex love-in when we played them in the cup at the Goldstone either.

Nope. I want them to lose by more than 4-0.

I am glad they got the dream tie though.

Good luck Michel.

No just don't think crawley shit town should be in sussex, others agree too.

But Crawley ARE in Sussex!
Get over it!!!

In the past when Lewes, Eastbourne, Worthing, Hastongs, Bognor have had important league/cup games there has been wide spread support.

So what's the difference this time?

Oh Crawley are not a seaside town so shouldn't be in Sussex?
Or is it that some are fearful that the Albion will have some real threat?

I say get over it!
Wish Crawley well.
They are Sussex through & through and give them our support!

I am completely ambivalent about Crawley. I won't be supporting them - but I do wish them well. Apart from their manager looks a git, and it should be a rule that club ownership is transparent. Oh - and apart from the fact they do look a bit like a Pompey waiting to happen.

10,000 fans eh? 8,000 of whom will never have seen Crawley play a league game.

Respect to you personally as a lifelong fan, but the rest of the Noddy day trippers (normally found on a Saturday in County Mall wearing Chelsea and Arsenal shirts) from Broadfield and Bewbush who will miraculously emerge for the occasion waving giant foam hands and asking if Crawley are the ones in red can do one as far as I'm concerned.

Errr, didn't you take 7,000 to Aston Villa when normally you only get 6,000 attend games? Yeah.. thought so.

Crawley is a shit hole I hate it ,like everyone says can't the border be re drawn ?

Don't wish them any luck what so ever, the sooner they fold the better.

There's only ever been one team in Sussex :bhasign: Don't F**k with our territory.:wanker:

I will hate them more than palace.

How is Crawley a shit hole, it is a lovely little town!

I wish you well against Stoke, so I don't know why you all hate us and wish for Man Ure to put 25 past us.

I don't want Crawley to let in 25. That would be harsh on Lord Michel of Kuipers.

8 (EIGHT) - 0 will do fine.

The point being, that if we took 10,000 to Old Trafford, the vast majority would have been to at least one Albion game in their lives, even if it was at the Goldstone during the 70s or 80s, and would still, however loosely, call themselves Albion fans if asked which team they supported (from an armchair or otherwise)

Of the 11,000 people from Crawley heading up, approximately 80% of those will never, ever have seen the team play, and would certainly never have described themselves as Crawley supporters if asked. And probably 80% of those will never watch the team again after the United match. Fair play to those of you who did stick around during the crap years (most of Crawley's existence, to be fair?) but even you will find yourself irritated by the foam-handed, Rooney-shirt-wearing day trippers from Bewbush and Ifield once you get on that train.

I don't really care what the score is personally, it would be a bit shit to lose 10-0 but I'm sure if Fergie sticks out a team of John O'Sheas it won't ruin your day. I don't care about Crawley and I certainly don't care about Man United. It's all a bit "meh" to me.

And I'm sorry, but THAT is right up there with the biggest lies ever told on NSC :lolol:

Horsham is quite a pleasant town for the most part. Brighton & Hove have loads to offer. Eastbourne has its scenic bits, Haywards Heath is boring but acceptable, the Hastings area has its history, Arundel and Chichester are pretty, Lewes old fashioned and quirky, Worthing...alright I'm struggling a bit now, but nobody, NOBODY, even the local tourist board (does Crawley have a tourist board??) has ever described Crawley as a "lovely little town", until you just wrote that.

Er what's wrong with Ifield?? How dare you taint Ifield with the same brush as Bewbush! Nothing like that shithole! :smokin:

Anyway, got nothing against Crawley the football club. It's had some shit times which unsurprisingly turned off alot of Crawley regulars. However it seems that the club is on an upward curve, good luck to them.:bigwave:

How would you know if they have never been to a game? Do you have proof? I've been to a lot of Crawley games and every time I go, I must see about 50 people I've never seen before. The locals are starting to come along, due to our good league finishes in the last few years and of course our success so far this season.
