Afternoon to forget for Carl Rushworth. OG for West Brom’s 2nd goal yesterday. Haven’t seen it but fumbled it into the net apparently.

Another game day, another loss for us. Leonard again probably motm..he’s adapted to League 1 seamlessly.

You need to update the original post with Weir's loan to Blackpool!

I wonder what's in the offing for a few of our remaining youngsters - Peupion, Offiah, Samuels and Moran could probably do with a loan as their next step. Ayari and Buonanotte maybe too if we have another couple of first team incomings.

Sounds like he's off to Hearts on loan.

Link to WestBrom forum where Sarmiento is.

Yes, the fans' forums are usually good places to check up on our loanees - the bigger ones are likely to have created a thread for their new player when he arrived -

Later in the season though, comments on these usually drop off, and the match day threads are a better source of information, as in -

WBA's forum is an extensive and fairly busy one - as you drop down the levels the forums generally become much smaller and less well informed - and information is much scantier - even a match day thread (if there is one) may only have about half a dozen posts - and four of those are probably from the same individual with an particular issue they want to go on about!

Sturm Graz (Scherpen in goal) taking a bit of a hammering in the CL against PSV - 3-1 down at home (7-2 on aggregate).

Tonight's round up (15th. August, Tuesday)
Abdallah Sima: Rangers hang on by the skin of their teeth to get through to the next round of the CL - Sima played the first hour. Rangers rear-guard action also helped by the return of one time Albion favourite Connor Goldson, still having a decent career up there.
Meanwhile, in League 1...............
Jensen Weir: came on for a few minutes at the end of a 0-0 draw for Blackpool vs. Port Vale.
James Beadle: almost a clean sheet for Oxford at Derby until Derby pull back a very late consolation. Beadle booked in added-on time seeing the game out.
Marc Leonard: (sorry, Lee-oh-nard!) - the Scottish Caicedo(!) helped Northampton to a 2-2 home draw with Lincoln City thanks to a very late (98th. minute) equaliser from Hoskins (but not that Hoskins!)
Ed Turns: got a start (at LB) for Orient away to Wycombe but couldn't help the O's to avoid defeat 3-2. Orient CB Dan Happe getting a straight red might well help him take back the place that he held so well last season. 'Tis an ill wind .................................

Has there been any update on where Andy Moran might be headed this season? I saw he played for the u21s at the weekend, but it feels very much the time for him to go and play senior football somewhere now.

The highlights are on Skys website. From a corner the ball gets flicked on by a West Brom player then hits one of the Swansea defenders on the hip which diverts the ball goal wards. Rushworth does well to get a hand onto it and flicks it up onto the bar but it comes back down and hits him and goes in. Can't really blame the keeper (it looks like a fumble on first viewing but the replay shows the first save is actually all instinct and he was just unlucky when the ball came back off the bar).

Not a lot of love (yet anyway) from some Swansea supporters. Andy Fisher (who played all 46 games for them last season) has his supporters! Rushworth has a job on to win them over.

There were several very positive mentions about him after his debut from Swansea fans. Even after the defeat to West Brom I’ve not seen much putting him down.
