Love this thread funny how people slagged him off before he played, now he is our best player

I think this is potentially a great signing. Gus is hacked off with the board for demanding he gets four players with his remaining budget, Gus only really wants to sign a striker. This guy won't take up hardly any of our available funds but does give us another body towards the four being demanded by someone, and his CV doesn't read too badly either. Good move I say.

This guy knows his stuff...

cover signing i suppose. might be okay. assume he's not costing much. would rather give one of our own youth prospects a chance but he might be okay given a bit of time.

Yeah. We'd have been much better just binning him off and throwing in one of our (at the time) terrible youth prospects. Two years on and I wonder what this moron thinks now.

The sooner people realise we have no hope of getting promoted this season the better. We will win a few we will lose a few and be mid table / lower mid table all season and finish between 9th and 15th with 60 points. The squad we have is nowhere near good enough for a top 2 finish and way short of a top 6 finish. With the lack of money invested and a lack of signings it is clear promotion this season is not a priority for Bloom or Poyet and I would think the priority is now having an exciting first season at Falmer getting promotion and possibly winning the league. This is the game plan so accept it. We AIN'T going up.

*Cough* The season we won the title?! *Cough* Gareth knows nothing *Cough*

Agreed. Whatever he has done in the past completely outweighs what he is able to give us in the future. The ink has probably dried on the contract now, so about time to hurl some abuse at him and write him off.

Who says the words jerk and knee are the NSC sub-headings?

Have to love your consistent ability to be so spectacularly wrong, US.

If nothing else, this thread beautifully demonstrates the dangers of predicting the future [in writing and in a public forum].

In hindsight, how spectacularly stupid you can make yourself look. Even clairvoyants don't put their predictions in writing, they only say it.

I predict that NSC will continue to have posters that predict utter bo11ocks - might I be wrong?

It's a good example of why changing rules to allow the PL clubs to hoard young players from around the nation doesn't mean young players development is of a higher standard.

Even when they get them, they don't develop a lot of them that well.
