Pre game I thought we would massively miss him but it took me til most of my journey home to even give that a second thought. Lallana, Gross, and Moder were brilliant in midfield.
Definitely something going on with Biss at the moment. Far too much social media attention on him from our official twitter/instagram. If he was soon to be sold it'd be very weird to give him so much attention and basically be reminding all the fans how good he is.
2 tweets from the club account relating to Biss, 1 last night and 1 this morning. Probably nothing in it but people on there seem to think a new contract announcement is coming.

If we want to go for that top 10 place we need to be keeping hold of Biss, alhought i agree its unlikely. If the only offer on the table currently is Arsenal (mid table, no European football Arsenal) then I wouldnt be surprised if we he takes a new deal with us this summer, and then next year if...
Exactly. Above all else Tony is a business man, and if Biss is to leave his primary ambition will be to get a top price for him. He would not be a very good businessman and not be as rich as he is, if he undersold one of our best assets. People outside of BHAFC might think £40-50m is too much...
£10m represents 25% of that potential fee, so its hardly nothing. £10m could also buy us the left back we need, for example. We will be squeezing for every penny. £30m just doesnt represent a good deal for us. £30m might be where his true value is, but we dont want to sell him, so any fee paid...
So after all those summers of persuading Dunky to stay and turning down bid after bid for Ben White last year, Bissouma just has to say ''Boss, i'd like to leave'' for Tony to knock 25% off his asking price at a time when we need more money than ever. Absolute bollox.
If its 'at least' £40m, and we ended up with some kind of £40m + adds on (taking it to £50m) + percentage of next sale type scenario then i'd probably see that a realistic/fair. With my Albion tinted specs on i'd want much much more, but a package deal that got us £50m would probably be...
Could see a couple of the interested teams turn their attention to Sander Berge instead of our Biss. Some journalists & twitter people seem to think Berge has a very low release clause now Sheff have been relegated.
I'd want £50m or over for him or no deal, but i can see it happening for a £40m plus add ons type deal. That said, i hope he's still an Albion player next season.
If he goes to a big club competing for trophies (so not Arsenal) and we get a decent £40-50m for him then we cant complain too much. Hope he stays though.
There's no doubt that Tony will have a fair price in mind and wont want to stand in a players way, but I feel his fair price would be more like £40m. If we're turning down £30/35m for Ben White, and buying a Championship player (Webster) for £22m then it seems strange to sell Biss, a decent Prem...
Could well be the case but if Tony is wanting £40-50m for Bissouma and because of this price deflation the likes of Arsenal/Leicester make £20-30m bids then it will be the Ben White treatment & those teams will be told to try again next summer.
£50m for me. Or more to be honest, seeing as we don’t need/want to sell. If Wan Bissaka is at United for £50m. If City are spending £41m on Ake from relegated Bournemouth. If we’re rejecting £35m for a Ben White before he’s even kicked a ball in the Prem. If Arsenal are spending £72m on Pepe &...
