All Naylor says is that there is an extra year club option in Mac Allister's contract.
The option isn't "activated now" or "not activated now".
The option will only be activated next summer - or maybe he signs another deal before then.
It is good to know that Mac Allister most probably has a longer deal.
My opinion:
1) We have to expect more than 1 "star" departure each summer. The number of potential names is getting large now : Sanchez, Caicedo, Lamptey, Webster, Mac Allister, Trossard and probably more.
2) It will all...
We don't know if there is a secret club option on his current deal for an extra year
I have a feelin' there is - as otherwise we'd be touting him around.
They don't even have to name him as he counts as U21..
I'm sure they will say something tonight, but the 11pm deadline isn't really significant for that...
Perhaps that means it had to be used now otherwise it would have expired by the summer and he'd have to reapply ? So, maybe if the permit isn't used within say 3 months it becomes invalid ?
That's after the reports that WE had signed Dreyer from Midtjylland this window.
It seems that getting transfers the right way round is beyond some reports.
Anything in the Argentinian press will give the impression that he has no choice, and it is against his will - otherwise he will go from being hero to money grabbing traitor. It'll all be PR managing the situation.
Yes this.
And also realise that any stories in the Argentinian press that say he is unhappy coming here.... will be playing to the target audience - the very forgiving and very unpassionate Boca fans.
No need to get all gloomy when they inevitably appear. It will all be managed PR for the...
Well we need their agreement as terms of the recall I guess, so there needs to be a quid pro quo.
Also the player will need to be happy for it to work, although he was on reduced wages at Boca so the weekly pay rise as he reverts to his propper wages should help.
We wouldn't even attempt this...
