Following on from yesterday's thread of recordings of the 'best ever' gigs, the worst.
This was a Finnish death-metal band who were too drunk to play; the guitarist fell over at the begnning and later jumped off the stage and couldn't get back up without assistance, the singer literally p*ssed...
....this 'victory for ordinary people' should mean:
- a fairer distribution of the wealth owned by the top 1%;
- a properly-funded NHS;
- more affordable housing;
- renationalisation of those privatised industries which are now foreign-owned.
- an end to the privatisation and...
...and she's now a convert :thumbsup:
She did think, though, that our passing was woeful, that Bristol looked much more organised and 'together' most of the time, and that the score flattered us.
That said, she enjoyed the game, was thrilled with Murphy's goal on 8 minutes, and loved the...
Poor distribution with his feet.

And there was we thinking it was because of inappropriate use of a different part of his anatomy :lolol:
Just back from our local pub in Bath. Had struck up a conversation with a friendly older couple who were on holiday in Bath. They said they live in Eastbourne, so I said I was originally from Lancing. Conversation turned to shared support of the Seagulls, whereupon they informed me that their...
Amidst all the moronic whinging on here, I'd like to congratulate the Seagulls Store.
I ordered my Cardiff match ticket yesterday online, and it arrived in the post this morning. Fantastic.

Sorry if posted elsewhere, but does anyone know why the official site was not providing live updates last night, and even now, last night's result, the up-dated league table and match stats have not been added? :shrug:
Margaret Thatcher's birthday today, and much of the world is rejoicing at the rescue of a group of miners.
Guess she forgot to close this pit down.
Rejoice! Rejoice!

Don't know if there are any fellow Killing Jokers on here, but their new album, Absolute Dissent, their 12th in 30 years, is their best yet, and contains some absolutely blistering tracks - 'The Great Cull', 'In Excelsis', 'Endgame', especially. I haven't stopped playing it.
Far from mellowing...
Sorry if Fixtures, but haven't seen this referred to anywhere else on NSC: Leon released by Queen of the South this week.

Two Irishmen were standing at the base of a flagpole, looking up.
A blonde walks by and asked them what they were doing.
Paddy replied, 'We're supposed to be finding the height of this flagpole, but we don't have a ladder.'
The blonde took out an adjustable spanner from her bag, loosened a...

These are supposed to be free, yet I can never access them
Whenever I click on any match highlights, I just get a blank screen where the game should be, even though it says what game I have selected above the blank space.
Amidst a barrage of sarcasm, could any fellow NSCers please tell me what...
I phoned this morning to book my ticket for the match at Bristol Rovers in 10 days time.
"We can't take telephone bookings' I was told, 'you'll have to send us an email with your phone number'.
'OK', I said, 'I'll email you right now, with my home number'.
It's now over 4 hours since I sent...
What the hell is wrong with the club's official site?
I couldn't log on to the site for live commentary yesterday, and I can't log on for the post-match interview - I keep getting either an 'Error' page, or a page saying I need to register, which I did in August (for a full 12 months).
I've...
From a brilliant new book by a guy called Chris Parker, entitled 'One Ginger Pele'.
And yes, our very own 'Two Kerry Mayos' is in there, as well as 'We've got tiny Cox'!
Following a newspaper report that Robbie Fowler had a portfolio of over 100 properties which he rented out, Man City fans...
