For your info those complaining think the scheme is very good for people that want to share cost or cant go on a regular basis. However as an extreme example anybody who misses just one game the additional cost for that game is £45 making the total cost of seat for that game about £85.
All we are after is club to look differently at people who miss odd game to those that want to share on a regular basis

No, that is an assumption on your part. I have paid to share because I want a legal route to doing so. At the moment I am only sharing for Leicester. Might not do it again. The cost of my ST was written off when I renewed. If I wanted the money back for any matches I miss then I wouldn’t buy a ST. That has always been the case. You have said that you don’t charge people to use your ticket so presumably you also are not worried by the ST cost you have written off. It is disingenuous to then include this in your claim of how much it costs to ticket share for one game.

So to summarise……it’s not worth contacting the club to put this on the exchange system as there will be people missing this , so it won’t sell out!

Or perhaps to Albion+ members. Because if the guest is not preparred to give the club £25 for a ticket (potentially several over a season), they're probably not even Albion fans.

Let's face it, it's the £20 which is the problem - there's no incentive for the STHer to pay it. And a guest won't want to pay all £45, hence all the whinging.

The club could easily backtrack on the £20 this season. Wouldn't be too many fefunds. And they'd collect loads of £25 payments...

I think it’s entirely irrelevant wether they are existing fans or not. It’s an opportunity to introduce new people to the Albion who have the potential of being a fan. Just seems common sense to me and I’m surprised the club and others don’t see that potential.

Takes less than a minute to list your ticket online on the exchange. You don’t need to contact the club. Who knows whether or not it will sell out but that will be determined by General Sale tickets not whether or not ST holders are attending. The two people we have transferred our tickets to wouldn’t have gone if they had to sit elsewhere so won’t impact upon general sales.

My wife and I transferred our tickets to friends of our daughter so they could all go together and sit together. The other option would have been to wait for the exchange to open and then for them to select our seats but it may not open at all if no sell out or it may open last minute. They want to be able to plan their day in Brighton so the ticket transfer has given them that certainty.
I do think the ticket exchange will come back into play once the holiday season is over. At the moment the extra seats installed over the summer combined with holidays and Covid nervousness are having an effect but take one of these factors out and general sales may start to match supply. Doing well on the pitch will also play its part.

Casual Albion fans shouldn't object to paying £25 for a season of access imo. (The £20 is another matter)

And if anyone is keen to introduce new/young fans, there are several ways to do that which don't involve borrowing a season ticket.

I've decided the bestest way to accommodate the travel would be drive over to Haywards Heath.
Park close to the station.
Free transport to the game.
Stay on the train to the grim north.
Before heading back to Haywards Heath for the final drive home.

Begging the obvious question:-

Where can I park, in Haywards Heath, close to the station?

I used to work in Bridge Rd Haywards Heath, walked down Queens road to get there . . . .from thew station, you can park there, or could 3m walk to train.

On a sunday the best and easiest parking is to use the station multi story as its only a couple of quid on Sundays.
Failing that there's a fair few spaces just down from the Burrell Arms / Postal Depot - which again on Sundays will be free. About a 5 min walk if you nab any of those.

Can I just check that the news I'm going to impart on someone who's coming from Worthing is correct? There are no trains and if he can get someone to give him a lift, the A27 is shut. Is that from Worthing? Then the cherry on the top is that Coldean Lane is effectively closed due to a bike ride? I'm sure years ago the bike ride was routed down Ditchling Road into town, Ditchling Road is not so heavily used anymore so is there a reason that they don't use that route?

In regards to the OP, yes list them on the exchange if you're not going to do anything with them. If there are 4 tickets together I'd estimate their chances of selling are increased, when I buy on the exchange I need 3 together & that's quite hard to come by sometimes (if the exchange opens of course).
