If Bloom hasn’t signed a £40m striker by 5pm Monday, we’re as good as relegated next season.
To be fair, they do need the window to be open before they can register a signing so maybe give them until lunchtime on June 9th ?

No doubt this will get laughed off court but i'd be looking at two Champ players.
1) Adam Reach. Wednesday have released him. HGP. Scores goals. Can play anywhere down the left. Yes he isn't young, but he is clearly a model pro and I think he'd enjoy the step up. If Burn can do it he can. Mostly he has that very rare gift of scoring worldies. I'd rather bring him on than Ali J, for instance.
2) Ashley Grimes. If Swansea don't get up let's get him in. Potter obviously knows his better than me, so maybe our lack of interest in his damning but if you want a steady, versatile leader who will give his all Grimes is he. Would be a great stop gap whilst Caicedo learns the trade and we need more leaders.
Given Reach is on a free and Grimes would cost £10-20 million tops if Swans don't go up, i'd reckon they'd be pretty sensible signings given mostly we need to invest in a striker.

Toney looked terrible today have a bad feeling he would make maupay look like pele if we sign him

I wouldn't sign any attacking player from Brentford without serious caution. Bit like Peterborough back in the day. Totally unrealistic in the way they set up- Bournemouths first goal more proof of that. And if Mepham could defend Bournemouth would've strolled it.
You score goals at Brentford because they don't defend. Doesn't mean anything.
Someone, maybe Fry, said Toney would be golden boot in the next few years. Seriously. What are these people on?

Benzema, Ronaldo, Lewindowski, Kane would suggest otherwise.

It’s not about set pieces, it’s about delivery, and options when the ball is out wide. Currently, our stock move is to get to the by-line and cut it back to the centre circle, as the targets are so limited.

Corrected for you. Mind you, Moder shows a worrying tendency to fizz on across - just need our other players to cotton on to the idea!

How about Danjuma from Bournemouth. They'll now have to consider selling some of their better players and this lad has had a break through season scoring 17 from a wide position. Looks the sort of player that Potter would like. Might cost a bit but we'll have money if we sell Yves.

I don’t think Toney had the best game yesterday, but I do think he’s a good player and exactly what we need. Fast, a bit of a unit, decent in the air, worries defenders, and, unlike Maupay, he can kick the ball in a straight line more often that not. The Brentford argument doesn’t hold water - Watkins has had a very good season. We just bought the wrong one.

I really like Matheus Pereira.

He is left footed which gives us something a little different (seeing March is normally stuck at wing back).

He scores goals which is refreshing.

He scores set-pieces which is something we must do better.

He’s also young, quick and skilful.

Let’s save him from Championship football.

I agree with this. Thought we should have gone for Buendia last year for much the same reasons. Wouldn’t be cheap though

We have previously been mentioned in the Bournemouth Echo as being interested in signing Danjuma, with Southampton also linked.

If you look at the Bournemouth messageboard he's the one player they don't expect to be hanging onto and who they feel will do well at a higher level.

I would absolutely have Periera. 11 goals, and 7 assists this season. Wouldnt be cheap though, they'd want at least £25-30m.
