It is horrendous, last thing anyone needs in the middle of a pandemic.
However what should sicken everyone is that one man could and should have, with calming conciliatory words, with peaceful promise to instigate change and heal division, kept this to a few days peaceful protest confined to their own country. Instead he chose to ignite the flames in favour of electioneering.

Whilst I do not condone vandalism, I do not think that NSC should be a platform for EDL propaganda, NSC is becoming a dangerous place.

Jack Dawkins is a prominent member of EDL, and the video has a whole EDL thread attached. So by posting it NSC is a platform for EDL. I do not think that that is acceptable, but if you’re OK with it, so be it.

I’m ok with someone posting an ex-footballer’s opinion on a video that was neither filmed nor originally propagated by or has anything to do with the EDL yes.
I didn't take it as a 'platform' for anything. It's simply one of dozens of videos online showing rent-a-mob trashing war memorials and lobbing things at the police, whilst not observing social distancing (despite the majority of the crowd being in higher-vulnerability categories).

Unfortunately acts as shown in the video posted are relevant and, sadly have nothing to do with or help the BLM cause and message.
Those committing those criminal acts, don't realise that it only feeds on insecurities and plays into others hands to spread, and perpetuate hate.

Playing devils advocate here, that video is real, those acts did occur, and the acts committed have nothing to do with BLM, and are utterly disgusting to desecrate a war memmorial to the fallen who fought for freedom from persicuation.
If you were there and saw it first hand is it propaganda ?
If you see it on youtube does it then become propaganda ? or do we ignore it ?
As I see it the video only becomes EDL propaganda if you subscribe to the message of racial hatred.

It’s really quite sad because a socially distanced and peaceful protest would have felt far more poignant and would have given far more support to the cause, what those thugs are doing and have done is utterly shameful and they must be brought to account, right or wrong reasons behind the initial protest things like that can’t be allowed to happen.
What’s more shocking to me is that there wasn’t some kind of plan put in place for this, considering scenes we’ve seen around the world it was always going to end in a minority of thugs taking the law into their own hands yet I see poor unarmed police officers being assaulted, I understand the hands off approach initially as they could incite violence but seeing totally helpless police officers like that is really shocking.
