Except some of them weren’t offside and Connolly was harshly treated. Shit ref with “help the big team at home” mentality

yeah i screamed WTF a few times at the telly at the so called offside calls against connolly ..

Sky sport news, What's the point? If Charlie Nicholas is covering our game, how does he not know who played the ball that Alison handled outside the box?
"I think it was Maupay"
You're being paid handsomely to report on the game for crying out loud.

Obviously an exciting end to the game. I’m going to be slightly harsh on us though because even though we rattled Liverpool I wish we could have played with a bit more belief having pulled one back. We still looked strangely nervous in attack. Too many hesitations and not sure what to do approach when we were deep in their half with Liverpool having all ten men behind the ball. Yes I know that’s still really hard to break down but several players made poor pass decisions or too cautious with Liverpool clearly on the rack. Confidence and belief are an awfully big part of the game and slightly worried that in such a situation as we found ourselves so late in the game, many teams really would have got a 2nd goal back. I don’t think we looked like we really believed we could and therefore would though.

Still, we scored at Anfield and only conceded two. The search for a win away from home against the big six goes on and we weren’t ever close today but least we had an exciting game. Potter rules ok!

Well we must have got better then

:D

Alzate, probably yes. Trossard doesn't play so well when he starts; hasn't so far anyway, so prefer him as an impact sub when legs are tiring.

That's a bit of a myth IMO, he has struggled once when he started And that was his 1st start since injury, before that, he was quality.

Shit you're right spence, Potters tactics are a disgrace. I say you should replace Bloom immediately as you are clearly more clued up. Im so glad you have returned after your self imposed exile.

On the bright side, at least when we loose you get to enjoy yourself.

Well there it is Spence and all the other doom mongers....we lost 2-1 to the champions of Europe away. Potter needs to go immediately, as well as Bloom.

Clearly the tactics were at fault, nothing to do with individual mistakes. Let's start a petition to put Spence in charge as soon as possible. I know my days will be brightened in such a scenario.

Shame....shame....

Klopp On Brighton's goal: "I think in a situation like this, when you have sense for human beings, you don't do it like this.

"It was very clever from Brighton but the keeper has just come on and is trying to set the wall. They are trying to get used to each other and the referee lets it go like this. We cannot change it but for me it's not 100% right.

Well, some dubious refereeing there. With Liverpool players dropping to the floor and getting the decision to ease the pressure and perhaps the 2nd half performance deserved a point.

It seemed like it to me also. Connolly seemed to have been fouled by their defender which in turn Propper fought for the loose ball, their guys falls down and the ref blows for a foul in which Liverpool score from. Great 2nd half from Brighton.

Didn’t mention that the ref gave them every 50/50 which isn’t very Christian

Is that why Spence can't tell us the name of his mystery manager. It's himself, but modesty prevents him saying.
