Harsh red card however Baldock did well to position himself in front of the defender who made contact. Once the ref has accepted that it's a foul then he has to ask himself 'did the defender prevent a clear goal scoring opportunity' to which the answer is yes so my understanding of the law is that he has to send him off, no matter how soft
