Tell it to Davemania.

Look if he doesn't play for the first team again it would be a shame. He potentially could be a very good player. You don't pay 1 1/2 million for someone without potential. I guess something has happened behind the scenes because
at the end of the day he's barely had a chance. It's ridiculous when people start writing off a player's ability because he's not picked for the first team. It's happening with Kaz now. The management need to start trying out players more rather than just sticking them in the reserves FOREVER. Yeah goes down real well with a player's morale. Poor management in my opinion. Houghton is a good manager but he has failings. He very much sticks with tried and tested, we need all of them

Wtf Hemed scored 17 last season buts lets replace him for another 17-20 goal striker some of the shite on here is laughable.
Also had we signed Murray in January according to half of NSC we would have been promoted, he's here now so what"s the ****ing excuse now?

Not only do we only have 3 strikers, but we also need a different type of striker, Hemed and Murray do the same job.

The excuse is James Wilson now plays for Derby, so we need a replacement.

Zamora was the quality we needed to take us to the title. Unfortunately he was so crocked, we all knew that, the management knew that. A fit Zamora playing all season would have fired us to the title. Just a quality finisher and striker. Murray could do that this season, not quite the player of a younger Zamora but a quality player all the same and three years younger. As I say could be enough on his own if he stays fit. One more top player up front and we are sorted

The point is, he was an option. He also score some vital goals. You are right though Dave. It's absolutely crucial we get another marquee striker in.

We need to be very competitive

You are on fire tonight, completely agree with everything you've posted. Zamora would have been the difference, the goals he scored were the difference in every game and turned draws into wins. The reason we didn't go up is because we didn't have enough to win the many games we ended up drawing, we were just slightly short of quality in the final third.

We had a brilliant team last season with one flaw, the stat about goalscoring aside, it's clear that goals were the problem before we signed Knockers and Skalak and the difference in the team when we had regular suppliers of glorious chances, the goals were flowing. It's the first half of the season when we were hoping ordinary players like Van La Parra would make the difference but they were just equally short on quality. Murray has shown both last season's first choice strikers what a true top Championship forward is all about, he's a class apart.

I hope Elvis comes good but how does he look more dangerous without scoring or creating as many goals. Hemed got 16 in his first year in the Championship and also hit double figures in the Spanish top flight. He's scored 12 international goals too.

I must say Hemed is not that great at championship level. He is capable of some nice touches at times, at other times he can almost look out of his depth. The championship is a VERY high level of football these days. He is good at penalties, very calm but he can almost be a hindrance in open play. He's far too slow, not good in the air, does not have the intelligence to drop off a defender to collect a ball, he's always challenging for a high ball one on one with a defender which he invariably loses. He hasn't the brains to drop deeper to collect the ball, always one on one, never in his own space.

Didn't we score more goals in the second half of the season when Zamora barely featured?

You'll be told at the end of the season, and you'll also be told that you were told at the start of the season, even if you weren't.

I'm sure you're a very busy man, but would you consider working alongside Hughton, to help him see where he's going wrong? Obviously I appreciate that you must be in high demand, but it would mean so much to so many of us, you'd be a hero to thousands.

Well I like Hughton but every single person on this planet has their faults. It doesn't matter how much of a pedestal you put them on. You are a complete MONG by the way

Ah what a surprise. I noticed that tiny spelling mistake after I'd posted. Was just waiting for some sad little **** to point it out

Indeed, but it's laughable that you think you know more about Manu than Hughton, and that our players just need more time. As if Chris doesn't know enough about Kaz

No, as I said there is obviously an issue there. About attitude with Manu, bought for 1 1/2 million, barely ever played. Hardly surprising he's looking dejected. Moved to a new country and never played. Kaz was championship player of the month, ONE year ago. Quality player, never had a decent run in the team. Not Hughton's fault, he's had a lot of injuries but the intelligencia of NSC have also written him off. League one standard apparently now but Hemed is great.
