The security will be a different kettle of fish out there. They might not give a shit having someone else's tournament messed up, but they'll want theirs to be a shining beacon of their state achievements, and they'll protect that reputation with everything they've got.

Maybe they should learn a bit of history. Apparently Adolph didn't hold Russians in the same high esteem as these individuals appear to regard him. Hitler regarded Russians or Slavics in general as "sub human" (untermensch) and their annihilation or enslavement was another objective of Nazi ethnic cleansing. So their 88 / HH stance is a bit like Afro-Americans getting dreamy eyed and nostalgic about the Ku Klux Klan.

Reuters: Seven Russian football fans beat up three Spanish tourists outside Cologne's landmark cathedral on Thursday, a police spokesman said, adding that six of the Russians were detained.

German media said the Russians were returning to Moscow from the European Championship in France and that two of the Spaniards were seriously injured.
