Just wish his death had been far more public, far more shaming by repeatedly showing his moment of death fear (let him live and then start again a few times), taken far longer and been far more painful than it actually was.

I am not a supporter of the death penalty in normal circumstances, but he was a combatant on the other side in a theatre of war, fxxk him.

Unfortunately its unlikely he would have suffered. I'd have much preferred he'd been caught and taken back to the good ole USA where he could have enjoyed some special and personalised attention.... for many years to come.

There is a lot in what you say, however maybe they thought this was to good a chance ?

This attack i believe could have been a British drone (?) R4 news and does this mean the West has contacts in Isis as to peoples movements ?

Yep, I'm sure they would have deliberated long and hard about their abilities to take him alive or not. And with no doubt their intelligence sources having pinned him down, and I would hazard a guess having electronically tagged his vehicle, took their window of opportunity whilst they could.......still it's a shame the bar steward didn't suffer, not quite like having ones head hacked off is it?

Glad they did him quick. Capture and a trial would have allowed him to voice his claptrap throughout any trial and the press would lap it up as they love a villain that sells papers.

Hopefully the last thing that went through JJ's mind, was his backside!!

Much rather he was captured and handed over to America. Proper prisons for the rest of his life

The world's a slightly better place now that he's no longer loving in it. Just rejoice. Hope it hurt, though................

Well, while people argue about whether Nazis had nicknames...the revenge attacks for this Isis heroes death has started in Paris. London before the weekends out I bet. Tin helmets on everybody, here we go again...

These aren't revenge attacks. If orchestrated they would have been planned long before news of the Jihadi John killing became known.

It's ongoing and shows exactly why we need to carry on taking these *******s out and quickly.

Hmm, maybe. Think the order might have gone out on this today as a result.........probably set up for a while, waiting for the moment. This was it. I fear for what else is in their pipeline.

The targets: the restaurants, football match, bars... it was planned for a weekend. Let's not start any hand-wringing about this, these feckers planned it without any outside influence.

Rather irrelevant point of order now old boy.
