Honest about their goals? They were caught conning people out of money, people who were led to believe the money was for Help for Heroes. There is nothing honest about this small posse of con artists.

Good grief, a political party trying to con people. Thank God we've got the Conservative and Labour parties, with all their integrity, honesty and devotion to country before self!

So, we agree they are not honest about their goals :-D
Any group collecting money fraudulently for their own pockets, whilst implying to the people they are collecting money from, is for help for heroes, is beneath contempt.
Also committing a crime, by collecting without a license.

Great banter. Tell me, what is it you do? English professor? Copy writer? Proof reader? Sitting in your bedroom knocking one out in to a sock over the Daily Mail?

Britain first seem to be gaining traction.
The thing is, these types of splinter groups always "gain traction", hoovering up the people who followed the previous bunch of clowns. I won't bother trawling through NSC, but I wouldn't be surprised to find you commenting similarly on the EDL. In the end, they hit a ceiling, nothing comes of them, and they become irrelevant because a massive majority of people in this country want nothing to do with them.

As for UKIP, I won't really be mourning their demise because I don't agree with them and really don't like a large chunk of the sort of people who follow them, but I do think they have been a much needed voice for those disaffected by Europe. They have forced the issue to the forefront of British politics and have ultimately achieved as much as they could have hoped for - a referendum on EU membership. And as a consequence, we've all had our eyes opened on some of the problems in Europe - even for some us who remain of the view that the EU is a force for the good, on balance.

I'd also say that it is a sad indictment on British democracy that we ultimately remain a two party state despite the fact that neither really commands the full support of the electorate. All because of the first past the post system. Give me political horse-trading over this, any day.

I presume you found the sight of Tony Blair at the Cenotaph on Sunday as sickening as I did? No wonder he didn't hang around for the veterans march past, but scuttled of to the lavish reception instead. Did Corbyn hang around to greet the vets from the Ulster Defence Regiment?

Not sure, ive seen pictures of Corbyn talking with vets after the parade when the other parties went off for their jolies. I believe there is more to the armed forces than the UDR

No they're not. They repeatedly share animal cruelty and anti paedophilia stuff on social media to get people to follow them. It's clever(ish) but it certainly isn't honest.

It want meant as a compliment! More a slight on those that pretends that UKIP are some sort of pro working class, regardless of ethnicity or origin. At least you really know where BF followers stand on such issues.....

This so called support for a group that 99% of the British people will not have heard of is grossly exaggerated and based on a number of Facebook "likes" which are no indicator whatsoever. Judging by their performance in the Rochester by election (52 votes 0.14%) and at the Euros (0.9% and 1.02% in the two areas they stood) a threat they are clearly not.

Yet......that wasmy point.

You don't agree that the EU is a force for the good, or you don't agree that those of us who do have at least had our eyes opened to some of the negative stuff?

And what is the difference between Britain First and the EDL?

One is a small racist group. The others are lovers of Disco.

Dont beleive the EU is a force for good and FFS try to follow a conversation seeing you are responsible for posting half of it. You wontfind posts byme bigging up the EDL or Britain First, that is the "difference".

But that's not true. There are plenty of 'normal' but not particularly clued up people on my social media, who aren't Islamophobes sharing their stuff.

Ah you've edited your post. Now you may be surprised to hear this, but I believe that Corbyn, despite my opposition to many of his beliefs, is a man of integrity and certainly the most honest of the party leaders. It would of course be disingenuous of me to suggest that it was a photo opportunity to be regurgitated by the liberal/left media to counter the smears, half truths and truths regurgitated by the right wing media.

Yeah, I think he is a man of integrity, but unelectable to most.

Looks like our prediction that they couldn't hope to run an economy is coming true. As well as the prediction that this pathetic cacophony of racist nobodies is slithering back into obscurity. Good-o.
ha ha you din, DON'T END UP WITH EGG ON YOUR FACE
