It's pleasing to see Solly March retweeing pro-Conservative and anti-Labour material this afternoon - the Albion are delivering a fine education to the young players coming through.

Pub landlords, cab drivers and footballers. All as thick as they come, and all right-leaning. A well known correlation.

Forward slash successful people who aren't too keen on seeing yet more of their earnings forcibly taken from them

You mean selfish Tories?

Good point. I was about to add the tax-dodging, greedy, stinking rich to Sim's list.

Yes, vote Tory.

Because 915,000 dependent on food banks isn't enough. [emoji106]

Who needs food when your inheritance tax threshold is a whopping £1m?

£1m is too low, Robin Hood died a long time ago

I think you'll find the general consensus of people who don't live in London or the South-East is that raising the IHT to £1M is another Conservative giveaway to the rich.

i know the polling is suggesting otherwise, but his seat is a traditionally Tory seat with recent switch to Liberals, i dont see he'll lose a 15k and +30% majority.

The latest Ashcroft poll for Sheffield Hallam (April 2nd) had Labour two points ahead of the LibDems. I think that if he loses his seat he is still technically party leader and a MP until a new government is formed which means he'll be the LibDem negotiator with the other parties in the event of a hung parliament.

More than likely on the first Eurostar to Brussels to get his snout stuck into that trough

Wrong. No one is an MP at the moment. He is technically still the Deputy Prime Minister until a new government is formed.

Means that Londoners who bequeath a £2M property (3 bed terraced house) to their kids will be pleased that their offspring won't be paying any IHT on the first million :lolol:
