I watched the Cards/ Lions game as soon as it became clear that the Packers game was going to be a blow out.

This Cards side are capable of going a long way.

I don't think I can bring myself to agree with you because the minute I do the hope will start to build, which will more than likely be dashed a bit further down the line...though hopefully not!

Steelers made hard work of the Titans last night.

It was an exhibition of running from Le'Veon Bell though. If he stays injury free he's going to go on to be one of the Steeler greats, up there with Franco Harris and Jerome Bettis.

This is going to sound somewhat odd, but I'm not convinced by my Packers.

They would appear to be too good, too soon.
I did think the Lionesses would actually run them close, but their standard capitulation might have already started.

I seem to remember a recent season when GB and Rodgers were playing unstoppable football, and then got unceremoniously dumped out of the play offs by the wild card winner.

The whole team looked so good last night, it's hard to think they can hold that through to February, esp as the Gaytriots (at home) is the only obvious test between now and the play-offs.

I can't believe Mike Wilburn said this, almost verbatim, in the the first section of Monday's PTI.

Jeremy Maclin's claim that the Eagles couldn't have beaten the winless Raiders on Sunday wasn't even the grimmest anecdote to come out of Philly's 53-20 loss to Green Bay.

Eagles linebacker Brandon Graham told reporters that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers literally laughed the defense off the field.

"Hell, yeah. That (expletive) pissed me off," Graham said, per CSN Philly. "I wanted to get him. But at the end of the day, shoot, he was doing his job. More power to him. I guess we would be laughing if we were sacking him."

Throwing for 321 yards and three touchdowns with a passer rating of 120.3, Rodgers, per the site, "frequently laughed, smirked and snidely enjoyed" the onslaught.

"And he was smirking," cornerback Nolan Carroll said. "He's always been like that. You've seen it many times. He's just one of those guys that jokes on the field."

Unlike Rodgers, Philly's fans found nothing to chuckle at, but Graham offered one ray of hope, saying: "I would love to see him in the playoffs."

Oh and read it without laughing, unless you're an eagirls fan.

Ben Tate you mean? Will probably run well with the Vikings providing he stays healthy. Surprised about Blount, although he does have some character issues which may be a factor.

Yup - Ben Tate, clearly that previous post was too early in the morning!

Blount's fallen out with the Steelers, also rumoured to be "corrupting" Le'Veon Bell. It'll be a brave team that picks him up now but there's a fantastic running back in there if they can get the best out of him.

She was sounding quite positive.

Basically saying a lot of what was said by Bobby Three Sticks and Not John Gruton has been taken out of context.
Plus RG has been so mollycoddled since high school a coach willing to give him a public dressing down is no bad thing.

He'll play the rest of the season and then the fun will really start.

To the original question, I'm gonna say 'yes' - today!!

Basically saying a lot of what was said by Bobby Three Sticks and Not John Gruton has been taken out of context.

He certainly comes across as mollycoddled. I hope you're right, anyway. I'd like him to do well, even though I can't really see him getting back to 2012 levels.

Yep, although the quality of play wasn't great it was actually one of the most exciting televised games of the season so far (in terms of a contest). Excellent game-winning drive led by Carr, and the Chiefs couldn't respond (although the extended over-celebration by the Raiders, after sacking Smith on 3rd and 6, could have cost them the game - Raiders almost blow first win with sack celebration - I guess such ill-discipline is one of the reasons they were 0-10).

Yeah - great game. I always had it the back of my mind they were going to blow it even when they went ahead.

Quick thinking by Tuck to get that time out called just before the snap. As a Broncos fan it is hard to cheer for the Silver & Black Clowns but after our recent wobbles that result has done us a huge favour as the Chiefs now face us next week and then the Cards the following week. Of course, we still have to beat the Fins on Sunday or it means nothing.
