I have SwiftKey, had been using it for 2 years on my Samsung s3. It's not the same on here though, you'd think they'd just copy it over... Or is it just to ween iPhone users off of the normal apple keyboard?

I think we all know why most Android people don't post about new versions of Android. Most of them are unable to access new versions of Android.

You have pointed out a great advantage apple has. That's fine. I took don't believe android users would react the same way. I have no idea who is and isn't a fanboy here so I wasn't aiming comments at anyone on NSC. It is a strange thing though IMO to post about a phone update on Facebook. I believe, as I said before, that people who do that somehow feel validation and a little superior.

£60 a YEAR. Jesus. I spend more than that on piddly things like chewing gum.

:lolol: agree. And another £60 easily on a coffee everytime I go to meetings!

I've gone for the iPhone 6, 128gb in space grey. Awaiting delivery now!

there are 19,000 different android devices, there are probably around 30 running iOS. A better graph would be device market share rather than OS.

The graph Bozza posted didn't differentiate between the different Android devices, why should this one?

Any massive improvements on these next iphones's? Or they just making them bigger and a little bit faster.
I heard that the iPhone 6 plus bends!

Err I've been using a samsung s3 over the past 2 years... And it's not even as good as the iPhone 3gs I had before!

Can't wait for the 6 to arrive at my door!

Absolute tosh, I had a Galaxy S3 for 2 years and it was superior in every way to my 3gs which I had previously. Shamefully I got duped into another iPhone thinking that it would have really improved since the 3gs...what a disappointment. I just don't get why people try to make out Apple is so superior when there is very little difference between the products available. Cheers for all the thumbs downs too  nice one :ffsparr:

Of course not, but it won't stop people telling you it feels better , has a superior screen bla bla bla. I don't understand this strange obsession with people always going overboard on the Apple stuff, if you like it that's fine but don't pretend it does stuff other products can't

But people are always having to defend them because just as many people appear to have a strange obsession with products they don't even own, or even an obsession with the people who have an obsession. All very weird isn't it?

Many people willingly/unwillingly or directly/indirectly have both products. My wife insists upon having an iPad due to the hype, whereas I have an Android phone. I use the Ipad, but still prefer my phone and what it has to offer. Agreed I find it bemusing with the apparent obsession about Apple gadgets, and there are viable alternatives out there. No peer pressure though.

This is the thing though, I have an iPhone and an iPad, both do a job, I certainly don't see the need to tell people how amazing they are and that they feel nice in my hand etc  it's like some kind of bizarre justification of having the latest fashion accessory, if that's what people want to spunk their money on then so be it, but don't pretend everything they make is revolutionary and ground breaking when in reality not a lot has changed since the iPhone 4 was released.
