I don't think its that crazy. Sussex are currently scoring at over 4 an over (69 from 15 overs) so are on track to get to 250. Warks then require 300+ at over 5 an over is possibly enough of a carrot for them to go for it rather than just playing out the day so more chance of getting the wickets

No ball is 2 runs (I think), so if you hit that ball for four = 6.

Sussex scoring at 4.25/over, which goes to prove how good a batting strip it is, fast sun baked outfield and short boundaries.
There is no way Sussex will set Warks less than 360/370 at lunch off 64 overs.
