Horsham was always my favourite ground. Short boundaries and a real flat top. Although the wicket does tend to crumble towards the fourth day, as Eddie hemmings will delightfully recall.

It's very typical of most wickets in the north of Sussex. It has a clay under soil, making it much harder and easier to flatten. As much as I love that ground, being a medium pacer, I made sure my back was playing up that day...

Joking aside, for me, it's one of the best wickets in the country.
